Fossil Records Recruits Artists For Independent Union

ST. LOUIS, Mo. – May 14, 2000 – St. Louis based independent record label Fossil Records (Madison County, Illinois) has recently opened its doors to five new progressive and instrumental rock and metal artists.  These additional artists (Inner Resonance, Reindel, Jeffrey Ryan Smoots, Denis Taaffe, and Third Voice), along with Fossil’s original group (the Franklin-Neumann Project), form the foundation for a new union of independent musicians.  This union provides inexpensive CD manufacture as well as international promotion and distribution.

In a world where big business consumes the profits of talented musicians, Fossil Records seeks to keep profits where they belong – with the artists.  As such, Fossil Records does not require bands to enter into an exclusive contract, pay any fees, or demand exorbitant percentages from profits.  Talented progressive and instrumental bands that are interested in joining Fossil Records should visit http://fossil.homepage.com and make contact through fossil@empowering.com.
