All media is warranted free of defects incurred through the manufacture of said media. This warranty excludes damage due to shipping. If you obtain media that you feel is defective, please send it back for an exchange of identical merchandise. Media must be sent to Fossil Records, 5205 Sundrop, Godfrey, Illinois, 62035 and all portions of merchandise must be returned (CD, jewel case, inserts, etc.). The following disclaimers are with regard to CD-Rs manufactured by Fossil Records.* CDs manufactured outside of Fossil Records (both pressed and burned) are the responsibility of the respective artists but replacements - where applicable - will be handled by Fossil Records. We test each batch of media on inexpensive CD players prior to releasing any product to market to make sure that each batch is properly manufactured. However, some older CD players have trouble playing "burned" or recordable CDs. The type of CD that we use is called "silver on silver" (more recently we have upgraded to "Diamond") and is visually similar to "pressed" CDs. We suggest that you check to make sure your CD player can play these types of CDs prior to purchase. Fossil Records is not responsible for orders placed by individuals without CD-R compatible players. Because of the ease of audio duplication, and the fact that most to all orders are placed via computer, Fossil Records must assume that customers will be able to play CD-Rs on their home computers. Most car audio manufacturers request that recorded CDs not be played within their players as serious damage may result. As such, we advise against ANY use of our products in car CD players and we will not be held responsible for damage incurred by such use.
